Sykes Cottages is on Lower Bridge Street in the city centre of Chester.
From the M53:
Leave the M53 at junction 12. Take the A56 towards Chester; after about a mile, you'll come to a large roundabout on the inner ring road. Turn left and follow the road over the canal. After a couple of hundred yards, you’ll come to a large roundabout called The Bars. Take the third exit, signed for North Wales, and follow the road past the amphitheatre. Entering the walled city through Newgate, you'll come to a set of lights; turn left in to Lower Bridge Street and Sykes is on the right just before the river.
From the A55 (Wales):
Leave the A55 at junction 39. Take the A5115 towards Chester. As you come towards the city, you will pass a large Waitrose on your right; soon after that you’ll come to a large roundabout called The Bars. Take the first exit left and follow the road past the amphitheatre. Entering the walled city through Newgate, you'll come to a set of lights; turn left in to Lower Bridge Street and Sykes is on the right just before the river.
Chester is on the West Coast main line from Euston to Holyhead and is therefore well connected by train services to London and the rest of the north west. From Euston, trains run every hour and take just over two hours for the full journey. There are also frequent services to Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Crewe and the North Wales coast.
The Sykes office is about 20 minutes walk from the station. Leave the station building and go straight on up City Road. Crossing the canal, you will come to a large roundabout called The Bars; use the subway to follow walking signs for the amphitheatre. Continue down Grosvenor Park Road, past the amphitheatre and into the walled city through Newgate. Just after the Pepper Street Tesco Express, turn left down Lower Bridge Street and Sykes is on the right near the river, opposite the Cross Keys pub.
